Off-Season Hoops was proud and thrilled to partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence on this exciting initiative. Together, we offered a three day academic and basketball clinic for forty girls from the Club. In the morning, the girls particpated in academic classes with topics on life lessons like Nutrition, Leadership, Social Media, Self Esteem, Relationships, Peer Pressure etc. In the afternoon, there was a full agenda of basketball activities including skill development stations, games, and fun activities with prizes. The girls also had the opportunity to hear guest speakers talk about their careers and how they've overcome challenges to be successful. This year's speakers included Sabrina Silva (Channel 7 News Reporter), Kristen McDonnell (Norwood HIgh School Girl's Coach)
